Confirming Pictures of Russian-led Attacks in Front-Line Zaporizhzhia Territory
Latest overhead images seem to provide the most definitive indication so far that armed movements are taking place in the zone.
Photos recorded on Monday displayed a notable troop deployment in the northern area of the urban center, close to a key location.
The orbital image, taken just after 8:30 in the morning time zone, shows approximately 40 military vehicles stationed among the remains of dozens edifices destroyed in previous time. Haze could also be spotted rising from a structure and a street close by.
A procession of 9 transports could also be seen to the south of the urban center on a primary route adjacent to a key passage, where there was a considerable quantity of army vehicles located in staging zones enclosed by barriers—improvised defenses constructed of sand or ground.
These transports were not visible at this site in previous latest overhead imagery, although it should be mentioned that while this photo was taken in the early hours, prior images were taken in the mid afternoon.
The photos also revealed a heavy stream of vehicles extending 2 miles out of the urban area along a waterfront route. Residents have been exiting along this path for some time now, seeking to flee the intensifying conflict.
